Yazd Farab Power Plant ( Cooling Tower) Construction Project The cooling tower project was the second project I led as the Site Manager . Cooling towers are immense and tall structures at powerplants, which are responsible for the indirect cooling of water outflowing from steam turbines. This enormous concrete structure of 120 m high, which was made of (Concrete Volume: 8,000 m3-Reinforcement: 3,000 tons-Formwork: 55,000 m2) , was one of the most important experiences I had in the field of civil engineering. To construct this structure, we used Climbing Formwork molds, which were cutting-edge technology at that time
